Poultry Meat and Oatmeal Diet for dogs
1/3 pound poultry* meat (raw weight) cooked
2 cups cooked thick-cut rolled oats
2 medium carrots grated (raw

1 teaspoon Flax Oil
1 teaspoon Seaweed Calcium
Substitutions: You may substitute beef, lamb, fish or eggs for the poultry meat. Use 2 hard boiled eggs.
For finicky eaters - add 2 tablespoon of sardines (canned) in tomato sauce
Provides 879 kilocalories, 43.1 grams protein, 37.3 grams fat. Supports the caloric needs of a 29-32 pound dog.
Directions: Cook the oatmeal. You can make a larger batch and keep in the fridge for a few days. Measure out the amount you need to the day. Add the meat, grated carrot and supplements. Server at room temperature.
This recipe is for a day's feeding. Divide into 2 meals.
When you first introduce new food - do it GRADUALLY. Add a small amount of this new food to the existing food and let your dog get used to the flavors. After 3-4 days the old food will be eliminated.
