Why does my dog get car sick?
When a dog gets 'car sick' - also called motion or travel sickness - it is caused by movement in different directions - for example the rolling, up and down and forward and back motions of a car that we do not even notice. These movements are registered in the dog's inner ear - their center of balance.
Certain dogs are more prone to motion sickness and will have a variety of symptoms which may include fatigue, dizziness, nausea, panting, drooling or vomiting.
Many dogs will get used to the feeling of being in a car while others cannot seem to get over feelings associated with motion.
Our Motion / Travel support kits will help your dog, naturally. Travel tips are included with your order.
