Lipoma  - is a benign (non cancerous) tumor that is made up of fat cells. Lipomas commonly occur under the skin and may be felt as diffuse, soft swellings, particularly over the shoulders and trunk. They seldom cause problems and are easily removed surgically. Lipomas of the breast are fairly common; they may be mistaken for malignant growths, especially if they are firmer than normal.
