What is cancer? Experts classify cancer as an uncontrolled growth of cells on or within the body. It may be localized (harmless or benign) or it may spread to adjacent tissues (malignant). Cancer is a mass of toxins that attack the immune system. When toxins build up, the immune system can no longer recognize abnormal cells when they develop. Bob Goldstein, VMD calls cancer ‘The ultimate toxic condition; if proper detoxification is not achieved, that patient will not have a chance to recover”. Cancer doesn’t just ‘happen’ - it is a progressive form of immune imbalance. When a dog gets cancer, their immune system and vital organs have been out of balance for a long period of time.

Anti-cancer protocol:
There is no one magic bullet or magic herb for cancer. I wish there was.
I believe all dis-ease, including cancer, is initially brought about by an imbalance in the body (
Learn more). It begins with an accumulation of toxins (environmental, commercial food related, or even psychological factors may contribute - it is somewhat stressful for dogs to live with humans) (PREVENTION)- Once there is an accumulation of toxins or waste products the next step is aggravation. This is the point where the imbalance occurs, the organ system is physically compromised and can no longer function normally. Finally, dis-ease occurs. Western medicine usually steps in at this point - much has happened beforehand.
The goal of holistic health is to prevent the 'accumulation' in the first place.

Accumulation -> Aggravation -> Dis-ease

Cancer is the ultimate disease of imbalance. It is as if the body or individual cells have lost their 'intelligence' to function normally. This loss of intelligence is a mystery in many respects. Dogs do not just ‘get’ cancer.
There are several steps I suggest people follow.
1. Develop a positive attitude! Pray and ask God for help. Never underestimate the power of this step. Miracles happen all the time.
2. Eliminate potential causes or aggravators - feed pure food, filtered water - see our
cancer diet
3. Add herbs and nutritional supplements. Balanced vitamins (low potency) and many herbs (
write to us) will help maintain and enhance the function of the affected organ systems, allowing the body's energy to go into healing.  See our cancer kit
4. Homeopathic remedies are often useful for symptoms or a constitutional remedy can be used to help balance the whole body.
