Vitamin/mineral supplements are essential for good health - but remember - the most beneficial way for your dog to receive vitamins and minerals is through a fresh, wholesome diet (fresh foods are packed with naturally occuring vitamins). You dog cannot live on chemical vitamins. All the vitamins in the world will have no benefit if your dog cannot utilize or absorb them. Research is beginning to question whether chemical vitamins are of any benefit.
