Basic Home-Prepared Recipe
Poultry and Oatmeal*
1 cup cooked chicken or turkey**
1/2 cup cooked oatmeal (cook in unsalted chicken broth for great flavor)
1/2 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
1 scoop Green Power!
1 teaspoon Organic Flax Oil
1/2 tsp Sea Calcium
(use Essential 3 supplements below)
* You may also substitute cooked brown or white rice for oatmeal
** You may substitute beef, lamb, fish or eggs for the poultry
For a grain free diet, eliminate the oatmeal and increase the sweet potato to 1 cup. You may also add other vegetables (pureed) such as broccoli, peas, green beans, cauliflower, or kale

Why home prepared meals?
Ask yourself this about commercial foods -
How is it possible that commercial foods contain meats (chicken, beef, lamb, etc.), grains, and FAT - yet you can keep them un-refrigerated for weeks or months and they will not go bad?

Here’s the answer - Commercial foods are SO HIGHLY PROCESSED that they are no longer food at all. They have been chemically changed into something inert (dead, lifeless) and then sprayed with protein digest and vitamins to fool your dog into eating them. Fats in the food are loaded with preservatives from the rendering plant and as long as the ‘natural’ manufacturer doesn’t add their own, they can say ‘natural - no preservatives’.
